For this assignment I wanted to stick with my tennis theme and do a bit of an advertisement of one of the tennis facilities here on campus. The Hollingberry field house is a very iconic building here on campus and I wanted to give it it’s own video like we did for Murrow. I went to the field house earlier this week and recorded all of the video and took all of the photos you see in the video. The videos of me are recorded by my girlfriend and are used to represent people who come in a play the sport for fun and community building. I also met some nice gentleman who were playing and asked if I could record a few points and they gave me the okay to record. Tennis is a very community driven game because you need multiple people in order to play and this draw more people in to play the amazing game of tennis. That is why i wanted to incorporate the men playing. All of the information that I gathered about the Hollingberry field house is on WSU’s facilities website.

After reading all of the comments left by my fellow classmates, I think I have a good idea of what needs to be added to my video. The reoccurring comment I found was this video needs background music. I noticed in almost all of the other videos I watched there was music in the background either subtly playing or was the main feature to give the video tone and identity. This video has a clear identity but music is a great way of adding more identity to a video. I will look for some up tempo music for the final video because it is athletic based content and that fits well with the genre. One of the other suggestion some one had was better shots of me hitting the tennis ball. I think I will try a new angle or a different way for the ball to be served to me. Also I want to retake the video of the people rallying and replace it with my friend and I playing back and forth. Hopefully these additions will give me the best grade possible and my final will be a cohesive story that people can understand.
